The Village has implemented a tax increment finance district (TIF) for Downtown and Cicero Avenue. Eligible Properties may be found on the Downtown TIF and Cicero Avenue TIF maps. Properties within the TIF Districts are eligible for incentives related to redevelopment and certain upgrades to commercial buildings, Incentives are available for interior improvements facade/exterior improvements, site appearance, catalytic investments, and small business start-ups.
