M.A.R.S. DAY

The 2023 Midlothian Annual Reuse Sale Day (M.A.R.S. Day), also referred to as “Garage Sale Day”,  will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 8 AM until 5 PM.  The purpose of this day is to encourage residents to offer for sale any unwanted/unused items that may be of some use to others.  Reuse is one of the “Three R’s”—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, which, when put into practice, keep waste products out of overflowing landfills.

To participate in M.A.R.S. Day you can: Click her to sign up!. There is no fee. No permit is required.  The reason for signing up is so that your address will be included on a list of participating addresses that is prepared and made available to the public.  Residents who do not sign up may still participate.  Some have found that if you tie balloons or streamers to trees in your parkway, those driving by can easily spot your home as a participating location.
