- Supplemental features, such as assertive discipline
School District 143, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1995, maintains close contact with the community through key communications, parent organizations, a school board liaison to the village and its VOICE Newsletter.
Midlothian youngsters are fortunate to also have the option of attending St. Christopher Catholic School, which has served the community for over 65 years. St. Christopher School strives to educate each child spiritually, socially and intellectually in a loving atmosphere. A full academic program including religious study is enhanced by music, art, library, computer science and physical education. The education of the total child is emphasized. Additional services include an extended day care program for students of working parents (available from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and from 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm) and pre-school classes.
