| Live demonstrations of the various styles of dance and listening to the music of a fiddle champion are always crowd pleasers. Past performances have included dance demonstrations by the Mullane School of Irish Dance, Thistle & Heather Highland Dancers, and Royal Scottish Country Dancers to name just a few. Piping can be heard by various Celtic Pipe and Drum Bands throughout the day! Celtic entertainment can also be found in our Pub Tent. Past performers in the Pub Tent include performances by StoneRing, The Plough Boys and Three Men in Kilts! A good time is had by all at the Scottish Fair & Celtic Celebration. At about noon a crowd gathers for the ever-popular herding demonstration by the amazing border collies. . |

For all those interested in learning more about their family name, culture and heritage, various clans and the Genealogy Group of the Illinois St. Andrew Society will be on hand to help in the search. The Tafia Welch Society will also be on hand. |

Looking for Celtic food items, a special gift, jewelry, a souvenir, music, or an item to wear or display in your own home? The finest Celtic vendors will set up shop in Midlothian at the Scottish Fair & Celtic Celebration. |

If you have children, they will be amused in the Loch Ness Monster Jump. Children also enjoy participating in their own version of the Highland Games, having their face painted, listening to the tales of the Storyteller, and creating their own family flag or crown. |
