Midlothian
represents
what
is
probably
one
of
the
best
examples
of
community
spirit
and
pride.
The
residents
and
business
owners
consider
their
village
to
be
a
small,
quiet,
friendly
town
where
your
neighbors
know
you
and
your
family,,,
where
fellow
residents
care
about
one
another
and
their
community...where
community
pride
is
evident
everywhere,
from
the
well-maintained
neighborhoods,
to
the
businesses
who
support
community
events.
Midlothian
was
recognized
for
its
outstanding
community-wide
volunteer
efforts
and
honored
with
the
Governor's
Hometown
Award.
The
people
of
Midlothian
have
strived
to
preserve
that
hometown
feeling,
and
village
leaders
have
worked
diligently
to
help
Midlothian
maintain
steady,
careful
economic
growth
and
development
that
benefits
residents
and
businesses.

Parade
of Families Form
obtain form. Have you got a great family that
you are proud of? Do you want to show your family off a little? You will
have a perfect opportunity on Saturday, September 29th when we invite our
families to make a banner with their family name and any other lettering,
drawings, photos, etc. that make your family unique and special, and march
down 147th Street to the Village Green. Since the Scottish Fair & Celtic
Celebration is all about
clans/families and heritage, this is your chance to show pride in your
family and heritage, whatever it is (it does NOT have to be Scottish or even
Celtic). You can dress in costume, matching t-shirts, whatever your
imagination can come up with. You can bring the family pet to march with you…we
want this to be a day of family pride and family fun! You can also
check out the Scottish Fair & Celtic Celebration link for additional information about the
fair.
