The Economic Development Committee (EDC) was established in 1995 to
assist the Village Board in promoting and encouraging quality economic
development within the Village of Midlothian. It is comprised of nine volunteer village residents and up to three advisors who are not voting
members, are not paid, and need not be village residents. The EDC will work
with property owners to list on our website available commercial sites
within the village with basic, pertinent information on each and also a
contact for those looking to locate their business in Midlothian. Please

telephone (708) 389-0200 or facsimile (708) 389-0255 if you want us to list
your property.
EDC presents a "Lookin' Good" award to businesses that upgrade
their property and enhance the business district.
EDC members are: Chairman Carol Beymer, Tom Mailhiot, Kathy Caveney,
Larry Ryan, Pam Pochinskas, Russ Fratto, Maureen Greenawalt, Nicholas
Pohancek. Advisors are: Dave Olson,
Terry Mulcahy, and Mike Woike. Trustee Don Killelea and Trustee Karen
Kreis serve as Liaisons to
the Village Board.
EDC meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the
Midlothian Village Hall Community Room.
