Quality Parks = Quality Community
The Midlothian Park District is a separate municipal agency created to provide recreational programs and facilities. The Midlothian Park District owns and operates 7 parks, a recreation center, and the Splish Splash Pool. We offer a variety of programs, activities, and special events for pre-schoolers through adults. Information on these activities can be found in the quarterly brochures delivered to all homes in Midlothian.

The Midlothian Park District is a member of the South West Special Recreation Association which offers programs and trips to meet the leisure needs of special populations. To obtain further information on these programs, please call them at 389-9423.
The Midlothian Park District is governed by 5 elected commissioners who serve 6-year terms. The Board of Commissioners holds public meeting on the second and third Thursday of each month at the Recreation Center which is located at 14500 S. Kostner. The Board of Commissioners and staff are interested in the ideas and concerns of the residents in order to provide quality recreational opportunities. We believe that the benefits of recreation are endless!
