The project will consist of resurfacing streets and curb replacement that includes ADA handicap curb cuts and embedded placards within the CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) block area. This also includes implementing Green Infrastructure with the addition of four new rain gardens.
The curb cuts will improve access to the Midlothian Metra Station, Pace bus stops and local schools. In conjunction with the road resurfacing, storm water structures will also be repaired to help mitigate the Village’s flooding issues.
Design for this project begins in Fall/Winter 2017 with construction starting in Spring/Summer 2018.
